Case Study: Gate fabrication.

Real people with real experience, ready to take on projects of any size.

The brief

Introduction

We were asked to design and fabricate a height restriction gate tailored to a customer’s specifications. The gate needed to be strong, easy to install, and suitable for long-term use.

Our team manufactured the gate as a sleeve fit so it could be bolted directly onto the existing structure. The customer later chose to paint the finished gate themselves once installed.

The Process

1. Workshop Parts

Initial fabrication work began in our machining workshop, where we prepared the steel components for the gate. Each part was carefully measured and cut to size for an accurate fit.

2. Bushes & Brackets

Here you can see the custom-made brackets and fixings designed to secure the gate. Precision machining ensures each component lines up perfectly on site.

3. Gate Frame

The full gate frame fabricated and ready for fitting. Built from heavy-duty steel, it provides the strength and stability needed while keeping the design practical and straightforward for installation.

4. Finished Installation

The completed fabrication project in place. A robust solution, fabricated to order and installed on time, giving the customer full control to finish painting to their preference.
